Terms & Conditions

By Booking a party/Event with us "RSG Reptiles" and /or placing a deposit, you agree to all our terms and conditions set out in this document and all other policy documents relating to RSG Reptiles parties and events and general terms and conditions.

Booking:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at time of booking for any and all events. Your event will not be confirmed until the deposit has been made. The balance is then due at the start of all events and be paid either via cash, direct transfer or debit/credit card.

External events:

It is the responsibility of the person(s) booking RSG Reptiles to make sure the venue are aware and happy for the event to proceed. 

T&Cs:

Once the booking has been confirmed you will receive the Terms & Conditions which you are required to read and sign to confirm you have fully understood the terms laid out in the document.

This must be completed prior to the event commencing, a copy will the be returned back to you.

Pricing:

All travel fees will be calculated on an individual basis once you have sent us your booking requirements. We will confirm everything with you before a deposit is taken to make sure you are happy with the price. There are no additional hidden costs after a price has been confirmed. All quotes are based on the information provided to us at the time, therefore if there are more attendees present we cannot guarantee everyone will be able to be involved in the handling of the animals.

Age:

We reserve the right to withhold anyone under the age of 3 years to hold some of our animals. This may include the bigger snakes simply due to the size. We do, however try to accommodate everyone.

Cancellation:

We withhold the right to cancel and event at the last minute/during an event if we find that the information provided to us prior to the event is incorrect, or if we feel that the conditions are not suitable for our staff/animals to interact with members of the public.

The costs of the event will not be refunded in these circumstances.

We withhold the right to cancel / change the event date up to 48 hours before if for any reason we do not feel it is safe to go ahead with the event. In this case you will be offered the next available date or a full refund will be issued.

Photography /Video:

Prior to all events, RSG Reptiles will obtain confirmation for any photographs and/or videos taken by us and used for social media and websites for our advertisement. No images will be sold.

Anyone not wishing to be included in the photos/videos will inform RSG Reptiles at the start of any event.

Animal behaviour:

Occasionally our animals might experience medical issues or can be in shed. In these circumstances the animal(s) will not be available for the event on the day. You will be notified prior to the day if there was a specific animal that had been requested, you will then be given the option for a different reptile.

We reserve the right to take regular breaks with the animal if we feel it is in there best interest, in this case another animal will be bought out for viewing & handling.

Inappropriate behaviour:

We reserve the right to remove any animal from any persons at any time if we feel that either the animal or persons could come to any harm. All persons will be asked to follow the rules at our events to ensure that everyone remains safe. If anyone does not follow the rules they will be asked to leave or the event may end. Funds will not be reimbursed in this instance. 

Risk assessments:

Before every event we will carry our own risk assessment. If any issues become known prior to the event we will notify you.

Property:

RSG Reptiles is not responsible for any personal loss or damage to property during an event. The host/organisers are responsible for health & safety for party guests, damage to external/internal premises, loss of damage of personal property.
